Frequently asked questions

What  should I know before my first Float?

  • Arrive 15 minutes early to read and sign our waiver and watch an orientation video. We'll take you to your private room and give you instructions before you start your float.
  • Your float will start on time.
  • Wait at least 7 days after coloring your hair or spray tanning.
  • Please note: bright reds, magenta, purple & blue dyes tend to discolor the water. We advise that you wait 14 days after coloring and make sure there is no color bleeding if you use these hues.
  • Ladies please do not float on your menstrual cycle.
  • Avoid shaving 24 hours before you float.
  • Open cuts and wounds are prohibited!

What is your cancellation policy?

You must cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your appointment. A Float will be deducted without 24 hours notice.

What do I wear?

You can float in a swimsuit, however, we highly recommend floating in the nude as this can enhance your floating experience. Material can disrupt the feeling of being one with nothing.

Do I need to bring anything?

We are not responsible for personal items you bring with you. If you decide to float in a swimsuit please bring a dry bag to put it in after you shower. You can also bring your own shampoo and comb. We provide towels and some toiletries.

How often can I Float?

You can float as often as you like! Most people who float regularly usually float 1 to 3 times per week for the maximum benefits. The more you float, the better life gets!

What if I'm claustrophobic?

The Float Pod is very roomy! (7x5 feet, 68 inches tall) The water is only 11 inches deep. You can leave the pod lid open and you are free to exit anytime.

Can I float if I'm pregnant?

Yes, with your doctor's consent. Floating relieves pressure on your back,  joints and internal organs. It also creates hormonal balance, reduces mood swings and provides overall well-being for both mom and baby!
